The manufacturing technologies, the customer and production orders, the management of raw materials, accessories and finished products, the BOM, the direct costs control and the real-time data collection from production – with 750 pieces of on-line terminals installed on machines – for the on–line tracking of the individual and group efficiency are all covered by the GPD.
The labor, the off-standard causes, the bottlenecks in the production lines, all are followed in real–time in order to allow the immediate step in if necessary.
The synthetic and detailed analysis of both efficiency and direct costs (materials and labor) is facilitated for the management by the multitude and ergonomy of the user customizable reports.
In order to accomplish the tasks, GPD is based on Microsoft SQL server’s scalability and balanced distribution of the communication servers with the on–line terminals.
